I have just recently finished the last song by Nicolas sparks, my main character Ronnie has
changed a lot from when I last blogged about her she has met the person who
understands her and someone she understands will, they both found something in
common the turtle which I feel is a symbol in this story.
The turtles are a huge symbol because I think they
represent the happiness the family’s happy days because as soon as the turtle
decided to leave that is when everything went terrible. Tables were turned they
had found out that Ronnie’s dad has cancer changing everything the turtle left
and everything went from a perfect life to being horrible. Ronnie used her
motherly instinct to protect these turtles and as soon as they left she has to use
those same instincts on her dad to protect him as he fights these horrible deices.
I feel by the end of the book Ronnie understood
what her father has been going through, after staying with him and how he has
always been excepting Ronnie. She also realized all the bad things she saw in
her dad weren’t true and it hurt me the most when I found out that her father has
past away. Another symbol in the book is her dads song she finishes it. Showing
that, she is living off her dad’s dream of having an amazing pianist as a
daughter.
I really liked how you chose to write a symbloism in the book because this book has great symbols. I never realized or though about the turtle being a symbol but now I think differently based on your description why.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you say how the character, and the story have changed since the last post you wrote. I also liked how you showed symbolism, and even though I have never read the book I get what your saying.
ReplyDeleteI like your explanation of how the main character grew and developed. Also, you did a great jog ob explaining the symbol in the book.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's such a good focus to write about, a symbol! I liked how you also gave a little summary to explain why the turtle is a symbol and how the character has changed throughout the book. It was also nice how you described the plot line and the effect the characters and symbol had on it. The symbol and the plot seem really interesting as well as the book.
