THE ABSOLUTELY TRUE DIARY OF A PART TIME INDIAN: spoiler alert

In the book I am currently reading my main character junior id in his rain of terror nothing good is happening in his life. Everyone around him is pacing away and leaving him. He feels lonely and he believes that he just need a friend a friend like rowdy. He misses him. In the book rowdy and his team just lost to the rich reardan. He sees his fellow "friends" and it hits him. He sees it’s not only him feeling bad but all the other kids were hurting just like him maybe even worse.
the little bit of happiness he could of given them by winning was taken away he saw these kids who weren't going anywhere in life upset just bad things just coming to happen to them he saw rowdy’s faces having to go home and get beaten up by his dad just because he lost it seem he is in a ray of terror bad all around him he questions himself will good ever come. But something I notice no matter how hard junior tries he just can't be sad and that’s because he is terrified of being scared he doesn't want to be safe he is over this he is trying so hard to push all this pain away by doing weird things like laughing in the car when hearing about the death of his only loving sister. He is trying so hard and I think this is one thing that makes junior so smart he was able to leave that and change he wants to change making him the bigger Indian. It makes him a bugger person and that’s what he is by the end of the book.

THE ABSOLUTELY TRUE DIARY OF A PART TIME INDIAN: spoiler alert

In the book the absolutely true diary of a part time Indian boy we meet our main character Arnold/junior talk about his family friends and life. He has a smart family that all made bad decisions. Growing up on a reservation he’s see many people that have just lost all HOPE that have no HOPE. In this messed up town junior has given up. In the beginning of the book he describes   himself as a ugly weird looking dude. He just goes off about how weird he look and how him and his family have no HOPE and will never make it big because of their race were they are and their situation, what they need was HOPE.
Junior gets mad when he sees his mother’s name on the book that was distributed to him this angered him. He let his emotions take over and threw the book at his teacher Mr.p. after a couple of days that this event took place mr. p gave junior a talk. A talk for HOPE, he told him he was much smarter and could make a difference this was a big impact in junior’s life. It really changed the way he thought. He started to think about his future and what was coming next afterward. Which afterward he made a really big transition he transferred schools.
When transferring school Arnold was terrified, he knew ahead of him were many rich racists. His thoughts came true but, only because it is what he believed, and wanted to believe, but as the days went on he saw not everything was true. He began to like it and began to adapt to the environment around him. But he really missed his root at same time. He see the difference in the two communities and change and make two junior him in reservation and Arnold him in his new school. I want to continue reading and see what happens next.

His Life’s a Circus

In this article they talk about how life is growing up in circus just like Alexander lacey. He say it tons of fun but also comes with a pound of work. The purpose of this article is main purpose is to talk about lacey and his life in the zoo.
lacey was a circus child and loved the circus ''he described his childhood as brilliant" he said at first he didn't want to be a part of the circus once he grew up but then he couldn't let go his love for his circus.
In the article they also talk about how wild cats can be difficult to understand and hard to work with but then lacey grew up with these cats so they had become close to lacey. This article also talks about how dangerous and how you have to be alert all the time when working with these wild cats it is important .he say you have to let the animals do what they want without force you have to be nice and easy with them.“It’s very important that they only do what they feel most comfortable with in the ring,” lacey states they are not just put into cages their cage are more like bedrooms with water and food. These animals are not mistreated.
In conclusion this animal should not be mistreated but loved by all. These animals love their job and love working with lacey. Lacey also enjoys his job .this job require patience trust from both side and this is a job both sides love.

vacation homework#2

The student plagiarized the student just copied and pastes and didn't source it he/she just copied and pasted it and said that he/she wrote it.if s/he liked it so much she could have at least quoted it and explained. For example" There is a peaceful essence flowing from the structures. Perhaps the cool dark colors and the fiery windows spark memories of our own warm childhood years filled with imagination of what exists in the night and dark starry skies. The center point of the town is the tall steeple of the church, reigning largely over the smaller buildings. This steeple casts down a sense of stability onto the town, and also creates a sense of size and seclusion." A Brief Understanding of the Starry Night Paintings, unknown author.
then later at the end go on easy bib and source the articles/he found this. 3 ways to avoid this is to after you do read some information wait about 5-10 minutes weather it may be listening to music or whatever sit down and writ. another way is after you are done writing go back and make sure you aren't copying.another thing you can do is read multiple sources and and wait and then write so it your own words from many different sources so that you don't accidentally do anything.

vacation homework #1

My two favorite blog post had to Joyce’s on The Hunger Games were she compares both Gale and Peeta. I also enjoyed reading Ali’s review on "Much Ado About Nothing" she did a really good job explaining about everything that brought the show together. When reading Joyce’s I saw that she did a good job without giving away what happens in the book she had a good balance of detail and explanation I thought I worked well. It was short and to the point and I think it worked well. In Ali’s blog post Ali does a good job explaining detail from detail in what brought the play together she really doesn’t talk about the plot but more the costumes the set design and I think she did that well. She did it well because she didn’t spoil it but she worked with it well.
I think in the future I will try not to spoil the book because I seem to do that a lot like I give away the ending or what happens. So I will try not to give it away. I will also try to fix all my grammatical errors because I have lots of those. But the blogs up here will be y goal I’ll try to write like these great writers.

the hunger games

Since the hunger games were coming out as a movie I have decided to read the book once again. The hunger games are a scary yet confusing but thrilling book at the same time. Although I had read the book before and knew what was coming next I was still filled with excitement. I could actually read the book without wanting to find out what happened in the end and it was fun so I could do it again. I looked more into katniss and peeta's relationship a little bit more and I think that it was a click from the start katniss and peeta are perfect I am team peeta. Peeta's sweet shy and so sweet and I think that is the kind of person katniss need they are like magnet. you can feel how much peeta loves katnisss. I still am excited to find out and read what happens again. I am so excited to see the movie as well!

PLAY REVEIW

The play performed was really well done. It showed all the aspects of the play while still making it fun easy to understand, they had made it more modern but not today modern but a bit older. I felt that the play had good transitions, and did a good job adding and using music and the environment around them. They only had a couple of props but then they switched them around turn them around and they had made it work. They had also used the stage nicely when first walking in I thought it was a bit small and cramped, but then as the play went on it actually made me feel like I was in the time period apart of the play, it felt very welcoming and nicely done.
I like how they showed all the science and the worked the stage without having to take too long to change the props. For example I like the scene when they thought hero was cheating and they used the shadow effect. I also like how they showed the different times of day through the backdrop. They made it into a moon or at the party they kept it as a yellow to kind of get the party vibe. I feel that it worked really well. This was a good play but I would advice middle school child and up to watch just because it may need a more mature brain to understand it.

romeo and juliet

We have met a lot of new characters in Romeo and Juliet but so far I think that the nurse has to be my favorite character because she takes care of Juliet and really loves her even if she is paid too like any nanny she loves her "kids" and I feel she gets Juliet more than Juliet parents do. She understands Juliet feeling and I very excited to see Juliet get married. She is an important part of the life because Lady Capulet wanted her to stay when she was speaking to Juliet. Showing the importance, of the nurse in Juliet life.
My favorite character from Romeos side has to be Merchutio because he seems very experience like he’s gone through life and he seems like he really like Romeo and although he is against love he will help Romeo out at the end. He seems like the type of guy that likes to make people laugh and kid around but I think he is a very nice man. I feel the book is going to take a turn which I know but it will be pretty interesting to see how the little characters like these react to the love. who will accept? and, who will decline?

romeo and juliet

dear auhonna,

So far I’ve been reading Romeo and Juliet and it make no sense to me but I am getting there. The langue is difficult to understand. And the puns are fun to find out the deeper meaning but difficult to understand. The thing I am noticing is that Romeo is in love. He is love sick and he can’t think straight. It is really good you can practically feel his love for this pretty girl he loves. I also noticed that this benvolio has to be really close to him because he never shares his feelings and he did to him while his parents said that he never shares his feelings.
Some tips and advice I would give you is to read the definitions to the side first and then read actual text it flows better then but overall the Shakespeare experience has been fun so far, I am enjoying reading this book and if you haven’t read it you should check it out.

if i should have a daughter

If I should have a daughter…“Instead of “Mom”, she’s gonna call me “Point B.” Because that way, she knows that no matter what happens, at least she can always find her way to me. And I’m going to paint the solar system on the back of her hands so that she has to learn the entire universe before she can say “Oh, I know that like the back of my hand.”
She’s gonna learn that this life will hit you, hard, in the face, wait for you to get back up so it can kick you in the stomach. But getting the wind knocked out of you is the only way to remind your lungs how much they like the taste of air. There is hurt, here, that cannot be fixed by band-aids or poetry, so the first time she realizes that Wonder-woman isn’t coming, I’ll make sure she knows she doesn’t have to wear the cape all by herself. Because no matter how wide you stretch your fingers, your hands will always be too small to catch all the pain you want to heal. Believe me, I’ve tried.
And “Baby,” I’ll tell her “don’t keep your nose up in the air like that, I know that trick, you’re just smelling for smoke so you can follow the trail back to a burning house so you can find the boy who lost everything in the fire to see if you can save him. Or else, find the boy who lit the fire in the first place to see if you can change him.”
But I know that she will anyway, so instead I’ll always keep an extra supply of chocolate and rain boats nearby, ‘cause there is no heartbreak that chocolate can’t fix. Okay, there’s a few heartbreaks chocolate can’t fix. But that’s what the rain boots are for, because rain will wash away everything if you let it.
I want her to see the world through the underside of a glass bottom boat, to look through a magnifying glass at the galaxies that exist on the pin point of a human mind. Because that’s how my mom taught me. That there’ll be days like this, “There’ll be days like this my momma said” when you open your hands to catch and wind up with only blisters and bruises. When you step out of the phone booth and try to fly and the very people you wanna save are the ones standing on your cape. When your boots will fill with rain and you’ll be up to your knees in disappointment and those are the very days you have all the more reason to say “thank you,” ‘cause there is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline no matter how many times it’s sent away.
You will put the “wind” in win some lose some, you will put the “star” in starting over and over, and no matter how many land mines erupt in a minute be sure your mind lands on the beauty of this funny place called life.
And yes, on a scale from one to over-trusting I am pretty damn naive but I want her to know that this world is made out of sugar. It can crumble so easily but don’t be afraid to stick your tongue out and taste it.
“Baby,” I’ll tell her “remember your mama is a worrier but your papa is a warrior and you are the girl with small hands and big eyes who never stops asking for more.”
Remember that good things come in threes and so do bad things and always apologize when you’ve done something wrong but don’t you ever apologize for the way your eyes refuse to stop shining.

The inspiring poem by Sarah Kay talks about her dreams and her struggles and how she would make a difference with her daughter. S he believes that her daughter will be hand and hand and her daughter can go to her as a “point B.” Sarah Kay is going to take her daughter and show her how the world works and that not everything can be right but some things can. She told us all her life difficulties through one poem and that she can change this. She can make sure her daughter has no difficulties through life.
The poem just flows letting through all the things a girl will have to face through. Whether it is boy trouble, through rebellion she shows her meaning that life is beautiful. The best way is she hides it into nature features ‘cause there is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline no matter how many times it’s sent away. You will put the “wind” in win some lose some; you will put the “star” in starting over and over, and no matter how many land mines erupt in a minute be sure your mind lands on the beauty of this funny place called life.” She has a very different and unique style of showing that the world is a beautiful place and she sends this message not just to her daughter but all girls that life is beautiful and just to live it. She has a unique way to send out message in a nice way that is easier to understand and making it clear.
I liked her poem because she has a clear focus showing it through beginning through end she has shown life difficulties through a couple of paragraphs she has shown her dreams. Still, maintaining a clear focus. I like her poem because it goes through life mistakes that everyone will make. She does this all while just talking about her dream daughter. This poem is a beautiful piece of literature

my poem

Israt Hoque                                                                                                                             813
My Loving Star
You sparkle in the sky far far away
We may be a thousand miles apart
But remember we are closer day by day
But in a life filled with sweet you brought some tart
You are up high I say hello from down below
Every night I look up and see smiles
You have a rhythm that just flows
I gave you my love and you gave your style
I wish you didn’t leave that day the cars crashed
You were still their holding down to my hand
As you were gone I was badly hurt and trashed
I was unable to listen sit stand up
But then I remember you were right there
As I looked up you whispered in my ear
…I love you

poems

Dreams....
what happens to a dream prospered?

does it moisten
or does it juice up like a lollipop

or does it dance in the moon
and shimmer in the sun
it is amazing brilliant don't give up

What If?
what if?
what if the world just stopped
no one cared fire men and police men quit

what if?
aliens landed on the earth will we die
or will they become our allies

what if?
we all took a break would we all come back relaxed
or will be out of hand
what if????????

poem to artwork

Today is not tomorrow
We work so hard every day, every hour
The machines have devoured us
Everything is hard
Lights flashing
Before my eyes
I pull and tug hoping one day
I will be the one above
